Earlier this year, Tom Wilmer did a Titanic audio series and participated in a Titanic promotional video for the Northern Ireland Tourist Board (The Titanic was built at the Harland and Wolff Shipyards in Belfast in Northern Ireland.) Then Mr. Prolific wrote two 2,000-word pieces for a Florida newspaper and blogged the content as well.
On the heels of this “media blitz,” Tom was invited by Tourism Ireland to fly to Dublin to participate in the St. Paddy’s Day festivities as a member of the international press corps. “It was so fun!” Tom says, as they were actually in the parade, rather than just watching from the sidelines. “I was so flattered and elated to go,” he says.
On another note: Here is link to the March issue of 805 Living magazine, which included his Small Lot Wine feature (pages 72-74): http://www.805living.com. He quotes BATW member Suzie Rodriguez in the lead, and even gives her blog a plug!
