Ask not what BATW can do for you, but what you can do for BATW.
Okay, I just broke the first rule of writing…no corny cliches. Still, it’s time to consider how you’re going to pitch in and help our beloved organization.
Four Board members are wrapping up two-year terms in December, and we’d love for you to join us. We have a fun and productive weekend retreat in late winter, 2 or 3 short teleconferences and a couple of 90-minute lunch sessions on select meeting Saturdays during the year. Each of us plays a role in running BATW with help from non-Board members, and we each get to put our creative stamp on a meeting in 2015.
Here’s where I make the pitch. I need each member to send me an e-mail and tell me how you want to help in 2015. Do you want to run for the Board? Please send me a one-paragraph bio this month. Or let me know if there’s another way you’d like to share your talents.

We have great momentum going into the new year as our reputation continues to grow in the travel and tourism industry. We can keep trending upward if each of us gives a few hours back to BATW.
